Wait, You Sell These Homemade Cinnamon Rolls Frozen?

Blue Door Sweets cinnamon rolls are crafted to be enjoyed hot out of the oven. The best way to recreate this sweet experience is for you to reheat them in your oven at home. As they warm, your kitchen will fill with the unmistakable aroma of cinnamon just as if you had baked them from scratch yourself.

Cinnamon rolls take time and are prepared in batches.  Any that don’t happen to roll out the door the day they are baked are frozen to preserve freshness. Having an inventory of frozen rolls on hand allows us to meet your cinnamon roll cravings on short notice. We will accommodate requests for unfrozen rolls as our schedule permits (Did you read about how the Blue Door Sweets kitchen must also feed 4 ravenous boys?). We do ask that you give us at least 48 hours' notice and will do our best to make your cinnamon roll dreams come true.

How Do I Store and Reheat My Cinnamon Rolls?

Your Blue Door Sweets cinnamon rolls are fully baked and iced before freezing and can be kept frozen for up to three months.  When you are ready to enjoy them, simply remove them from the freezer and let them thaw on the counter.  Once the rolls are room temperature, remove the lid, tent the pan loosely with foil, and place in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through (Insider tip: If you don’t want to reheat the whole pan at once, you can also remove individual rolls from the pan and warm them in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.). Once thawed, we recommend that you enjoy (dare we say devour?) your rolls within 2 days for the best experience.

How Do I Get My Sweets?

After we receive your order, we will contact you to schedule a pick up day and time from our home kitchen in Southwest Austin. Depending on location, delivery may be available upon request for an additional fee. 

Do You Ever Have In-Person Events?

We have pop-ups around Austin from time to time that are announced on our website and via social media. Pre-orders are welcome, especially if you want a flavor other than our original rolls. Note: When placing your pre-order, please indicate that it is for a pop-up during checkout.

Do You Ever Offer Anything Other Than Cinnamon Rolls?

We are proud of our cinnamon rolls. They are - and always will be - the star of the Blue Door Sweets show. We offer three core flavors that are available year round: Original, Orange and Coffee. We also have seasonal varieties that come and go throughout the year. If you have a flavor idea you would like to see added to our menu, please reach out to us. We love talking to our customers, especially about cinnamon rolls!

Do We Ship?

We do not currently offer shipping. Blue Door Sweets operates under the Texas Cottage Food laws, which do not allow us to offer this service at this time.

Any Allergen Issues I Should Know About?

Blue Door Sweets cinnamon and sweet rolls contain dairy and wheat. They do NOT contain eggs. Please note that while we do our best to prevent cross contamination, our products are produced in a kitchen where foods containing common allergens are also prepared.

Do You Have Gluten Free Options?

We have a gluten-free version of our rolls and will have some on hand from time to time. Please reach out to us if you are interested in this option. Please see our statement above regarding allergen cross contamination concerns.
